I'm making good progress towards Oaxaca. I should be able to make it by Tues. night. The terrain continues to be strenuous, with long climbs followed by long downhills.
No flats yet, but three broken spokes. The combination of the weight and these Mexican "tores" (speedbumps from hell) are taking their toll on my wheel.
It is just too damn hot to ride midday, so I ride 7-11, 2-6. I can't seem to drink water fast enough. I'm drinking about 5 litres/day.
