My long journey has begun. Yesterday I took an all night boat to San Carlos, then took a river boat across the Costa Rican border. Probably the most beautiful border crossing ever.
Then five hours in a bus to San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. I tried to catch a direct bus to Panama this evening, but after waiting two hours, it was full. I didn't fancy standing for 20 hours, so I crashed in San Jose for the night.
