Last night I ran into an Argentinian who has been biking all over South
America, and he gave me all sorts of great advice. So I´m changing plans and
going straight to Medellìn, Columbia. I don´t have a lot more time in South
America and I want to make sure I have time for S. Peru and Bolivia. From
Medellìn, I will bike to Cali. The route is on the Pan American highway,
which is very safe. I am flying to Medellìn, to avoid any trouble between
here and there. I was trying to avoid flying, but I suppose it is better than
being kidnapped. It should take me about a week to get to Cali.
