Well, it has been an adventurous day. Yesterday, as I was riding along, I noticed someone on the side of the road selling old Victrola replicas. My consumerism got the best of me, and I ended up buying a restored original Victrola, with horn and all. Since it was festival day, I had to wait until today to send it, so I stayed in the house of the person who was selling it. I slept in the same room as his entire extended family. Today, we spent all day building crates to send it. Finally, at 4:00, it was off. Since it was too late to ride, I'm staying here in town. I'm less than two days from Cali. From there I will most likely fly to Quito.
