I finally made it to Cali. I decided to make the big push today, riding
150km, much of it in the pouring rain. The terrain was flat or even
slightly downhill, so it was pretty mellow going. The terrain over the last
couple of days has been pretty bland - just fields of corn. I don't plan on
hanging around here very long. I want to get to Equador and do more riding.

I seem to be having a reoccurence of my cold, or maybe it is just all of
the smog from breathing too many diesel fumes. I'm going through three packs
of cough drops a day.
