I didn't quite make it out of Ecuador. I got to the border around 9pm, but there are no buses until tomorrow. So tonight I'm staying in a dive hotel in the border town. Quite a change from the place I was staying in yesterday.

The bus to Huaquillas was interesting. Several police checkpoints, including being patted down. I'm not sure what they're looking for.

Tomorrow, I take a bus to Piura, then a plane to Lima.
