I'm now in Granada, home of the famous Alhambra, an old Moorish palace on the hill. You have to book ahead to see it, and I have reservations for tomorrow morning.
Yesterday and today were very strange. The woman who runs the hostal I'm staying at volunteered me to escort her friend around town last night, since she was traveling alone. What she didn't tell me was that the woman was right in the middle of a major relationship crisis, and I had to spend the entire evening (out until 8:30 am) babysitting her, then had to sleep on the floor since she crashed on my bed. A good story...
I may leave tomorrow and start heading north again, or I may wait until the next day.
